Kevin H. Cuevas, M.D.

Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Cuevas completed a BS undergraduate degree in both molecular biology and chemistry. He joined the formulation department at Liposome Technology, Inc. in 1986 and conducted research in various drug delivery mechanisms. Dr. Cuevas was involved in the formulation of a liposomal form of the chemotherapeutic agent doxorubicin which is currently marketed under the trade name DOXIL®.

Dr. Cuevas holds an M.D. degree from the University of Southern California. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas with extensive training in ocular trauma. A fellowship at the University of Iowa followed in corneal and laser refractive surgery. Dr. Cuevas has conducted international research, published original literature, and continues to lecture locally and nationally.
